Between The Bridges partners with SumUp for seamless 2026 payments

Between The Bridges, a popular Thames-side events destination, has announced SumUp as its official payment partner. The deal will see the venue rebranded as Between The Bridges Powered by SumUp ahead of its 2026 season. Both companies aim to support independent traders and streamline transactions at the site. The partnership brings together SumUp, a global payment provider serving over four million merchants, and Between The Bridges, home to around 50 independent traders. From the 2026 season opening on 30 April, SumUp’s technology will handle every card payment, point-of-sale transaction, and QR code order at the venue.

SumUp will install its Solo card readers, POS systems, and QR code payment solutions across the site. The technology promises faster operations for small businesses, with quick setup, next-day payouts, and no fixed costs. Pierre Lion, Global Director of Enterprise Sales at SumUp, highlighted the company’s commitment to backing independent businesses and creative entrepreneurs at the venue.

This collaboration follows SumUp’s previous partnership with the O2, the world’s most visited live entertainment venue. Marcus Weedon, Co-Founder and Director of Between The Bridges, expressed enthusiasm for the 2026 season, calling the partnership a significant step for the venue’s future. The deal reflects SumUp’s ongoing investment in London’s independent and cultural sectors. All payments at Between The Bridges will now run through SumUp’s systems, starting from the 2026 season. The venue’s traders and visitors will experience faster, more efficient transactions under the new arrangement.
