Adamastor Furia: A €1.6M Track-Only Hypercar With F1-Inspired Fury
Portuguese carmaker Adamastor has unveiled the Furia, a new hypercar built for the track. Priced from €1.6 million before VAT, it targets buyers who want high performance on circuits rather than just road driving. Only 60 examples will be made, making it an exclusive choice for enthusiasts. The Furia draws its design cues from modern track-focused hypercars and Formula One machines. Its aggressive styling hints at its racing pedigree. Under the bodywork sits a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, the same unit used in the Ford GT, producing 485kW and 571Nm.
Performance figures are impressive. The Furia accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in around 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300km/h in road-legal form. On the track, it generates up to 1799kg of downforce at 250km/h, ensuring stability and grip during high-speed cornering. Adamastor has positioned the Furia as a serious contender for circuit use. Its engineering and aerodynamics prioritise lap times over comfort, appealing to drivers who demand track-focused capability.
With a limited production run of 60 units, the Furia joins a select group of ultra-exclusive hypercars. Its combination of Formula One-inspired design, Ford GT-derived power, and extreme downforce sets it apart. Buyers will pay around NZ$3.15 million before taxes for a machine built purely for performance.
