Bamboo and Centiglobe Partner to Revolutionize Latin America's Cross-Border Payments

Bamboo and Centiglobe have announced a strategic partnership to streamline cross-border payments in Latin America. The collaboration aims to simplify B2B and B2C transactions for global businesses entering the region. Bamboo is now positioned as the go-to infrastructure partner for fast and reliable market access. The partnership combines Centiglobe’s global payment network with Bamboo’s local banking and payment capabilities. This integration allows Centiglobe’s members to use Bamboo’s local infrastructure without setting up multiple entities or managing complex systems.

Settlements will now be faster, often completed within the same day or the next. The solution also offers direct access to Latin American markets, with benefits including reduced complexity, transparent processes, and compliance with local regulations. A tokenised bank deposit model and regulatory-aligned infrastructure further support the service.

Petter Sandgren, CEO of Centiglobe, highlighted the expanded access to Latin America and the improved capital efficiency for businesses. Gregory Cornwell, Chief of Revenue at Bamboo, added that the partnership reduces operational hurdles for companies scaling in the region. Centiglobe can now extend its network across Latin America by leveraging Bamboo’s local execution strengths. The collaboration provides global businesses with a simplified way to enter Latin America. Faster payouts, reduced complexity, and regulatory compliance are key outcomes of the partnership. Both companies expect the alliance to enhance payment flows and efficiency for their clients.
