December 2025 Sky Guide: Planets Shine Brightest This Month

December 2025 promises excellent opportunities for stargazers. Several planets will be visible in the night sky, with some requiring simple equipment to observe. The month also brings the longest and darkest nights of the year, perfect for spotting celestial objects. Jupiter will dominate the sky throughout December 2025. It will remain visible from sunset to the early hours, making it a standout feature for observers. On December 7, the Moon will appear close to Jupiter within the constellation Gemini.
