India debuts AI-powered autonomous fueling at VivaTech 2026 with global ambitions
India is making its first appearance as AI Country Partner at VivaTech 2026. The country is also hosting its largest-ever national pavilion at the event. Among the highlights is Repos Energy’s live demonstration of its Autonomous Fuelling Solution at the India Pavilion. VivaTech Paris 2026 saw Repos Energy unveil a working prototype of its Autonomous Fuelling technology. The system combines AI-based demand forecasting, IoT remote monitoring, robotic dispensing, and digital payments. The showcase took place on a day when Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal and French President Emmanuel Macron attended the summit.
Repos Energy is one of 25 Indian startups selected by DPIIT under the 'Bharat Innovates' theme. Founder Aditi Bhosale Walunj called the event a defining moment for the company and Indian entrepreneurs. Her co-founder, Chetan Walunj, added that the future of energy is autonomous, intelligent, and made in India.
The Government of India, led by Shri Piyush Goyal, pledged to support the rollout of Autonomous Fuelling infrastructure. The minister committed to creating policies that will accelerate its adoption nationwide. Repos Energy aims to use VivaTech 2026 to build global partnerships and attract international interest.
