India's First Doctor-Led Brain Wellness Program Launches for Seniors
Dr. Sweta Sahu, a physician and researcher with experience at Johns Hopkins and the Cleveland Clinic, is leading a new initiative in India. She has launched ActiveMind Daily, the country’s first doctor-led brain wellness programme for seniors. The programme aims to address a gap in elder care, where brain health prevention is rarely discussed. ActiveMind Daily is part of BlueprintRx, a healthcare venture focused on innovative solutions. The programme is designed for older adults in Indian homes and requires no login or screen time from participants. It delivers one short daily activity targeting memory, language, attention, reflection, and family connection.
The pilot phase invites 50 founding families to join a 10-day trial. Reminders are sent via WhatsApp or phone call, making it easy to track progress. If a day is missed, catch-up sessions are available to keep participants on track. The programme adapts to the rhythms of Indian family life. It offers a simple, accessible way to support brain health for seniors. The pilot will test its effectiveness before wider implementation.
