Burien offers free air purifiers—here's how to claim yours

Burien residents can collect free air purifiers at an event later this month. The giveaway takes place on Thursday, June 18, in the Council Chamber at Burien City Hall. Supplies are limited, and distribution will follow a first come, first served approach. The event runs from 2 to 6 p.m. Attendees must complete a five-minute supervised survey to qualify for an air purifier.

The City of Burien is working with several local partners to organise the initiative. Eco Infinity Nation, King County Public Health, Neighborhood House, Integrated Public Services, and the Seattle Indian Business Association are all involved. Residents will receive one air purifier per household while stocks last. The survey requirement ensures fair distribution. Organisers aim to support cleaner air in local homes through the programme.
