New modular water station tackles quality issues in Zheleznodorozhny district

A new modular water treatment station has been installed to address water quality issues in the Zheleznodorozhny microdistrict of Vyazemsky district. The station aims to improve the water supply for local residents. Officials have confirmed that temporary disruptions may occur during the setup phase. The station was purchased to resolve ongoing water quality problems in the area. It has a capacity of 10 m³ per hour and uses advanced technology for de-ironization and demanganation of water. The system also features automatic filter washing and operates without constant staff supervision.

Cold water supply in test mode started on 15 June. Commissioning is expected to be completed by the end of the month. Start-up and adjustment work on the automatic control system is currently underway to ensure stable supply and compliance with sanitary standards.

The station supports both automatic and manual control modes. This allows operators to redirect flows when needed for setup, repairs, or emergencies. Sergey Khotinenets, head of the municipal infrastructure and life support department, acknowledged that short-term disruptions may still happen. These could include reduced water pressure or changes in colour and turbidity. Work to finalise the setup will continue for several more days. Once completed, water supply will return to normal, and quality will meet all required standards. The new station is designed to provide a reliable and consistent water service for the community.
