Inspiration Mobility Acquires Electrada to Boost EV Charging Infrastructure for Commercial Fleets

Inspiration Mobility Group has acquired key assets from Electrada to expand its electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The move aims to strengthen its position in heavy-duty commercial vehicles, distribution fleets, and autonomous operations. Electrada currently runs over 375 depots supporting a wide range of commercial fleets. The acquisition brings Electrada’s team, project pipeline, and charging depot development under Inspiration’s umbrella. Its energy management software and intellectual property will also join Inspiration’s existing charging and energy business. Together, the companies will offer a full suite of services, from depot design to utility coordination and energy management.

A turnkey Charging-as-a-Service programme will provide ongoing operations for customers. Josh Green, founder and CEO of Inspiration, highlighted Electrada’s track record of delivering reliable electric fuel at predictable costs for complex fleets. Kevin Kushman, CEO of Electrada, noted that Inspiration shares the same focus on customer outcomes, making it the ideal partner. The combined business will now serve fleets across the entire EV charging infrastructure stack. The deal expands Inspiration’s reach into heavy-duty and autonomous vehicle markets. Electrada’s expertise and assets are set to enhance Inspiration’s service offerings.
