Vostochny Port Foundation transforms communities with June projects

The Vostochny Port Foundation for Social and Environmental Initiatives completed over a dozen community projects in June. These included donations, renovations, and public events across the region. Each effort aimed to support local residents and institutions. On Children’s Day, the foundation visited the Center for Family Placement. Every child there received a personal gift. Later, the group congratulated staff at the Eastern Hospital on Medical Workers’ Day.

The foundation also donated six new medical storage cabinets to the hospital’s surgical unit. These will help organise supplies in the operating block.

In Zhelelev Square, renovations wrapped up with new benches, trash bins, and lighting. The refurbished swings and slides were also unveiled. To mark the occasion, a free ice cream event was held for all attendees.

Elsewhere, a large community cleanup took place at Prikumsk Beach before Ecologist’s Day. Two new entertainment zones opened in Vladivostok city squares on June 1, hosting performances and workshops for visitors.

The month also saw the 13th annual awards ceremony for outstanding students. Nearly 30 pupils received the Viktor Vasyanovich Scholarship for their academic achievements. The foundation’s June activities covered education, healthcare, and public spaces. Each project provided tangible benefits to the community. Residents and institutions received support through gifts, improved facilities, and celebratory events.
