Environmental Campaign in the Region Makes Auliyet's Landscapes Greener Under "Clean Kazakhstan" Initiative

A large-scale effort to plant trees and clean up waste is underway across the region as part of the national Clean Kazakhstan program. Events are held regularly in both the regional capital and rural settlements. Since the start of the year, nearly 200 ecological campaigns, festivals, and community clean-up drives have been organized through youth initiatives. Volunteers play an active role, always ready to lend a hand. Today, around 500 volunteers rallied in support of the President's call to action, said Alikhan Naregayev, head of the regional Youth Resource Center.

In total, 12,200 residents took part in the latest regional campaign, planting approximately 6,500 young trees—including around 500 in Densauly Park.

Bakitzhan Dusenbayev, a member of the city's Veterans Council, emphasizes the importance of such initiatives, calling them not only an investment in the future but also a vital part of educating the younger generation. "Respect for the environment must be instilled from an early age," he noted. "It's crucial for young people to experience this firsthand through their own efforts."

Volunteer Balzhan Beisenbek added that tree-planting and clean-up efforts should involve not just youth activists and veterans but the entire community. She urged local residents to keep their surroundings clean, maintain the areas near their homes, and set an example for children.

Regional authorities expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the noble cause of improving and greening their shared home, with special recognition for the youth.

"I'm so glad our region keeps getting better every year," said local resident Ayzhan Bekmurat. "Community clean-ups are happening everywhere. Today, I took my children to Densauly Park for the first time and witnessed the tree-planting myself. It's wonderful that these campaigns help maintain Taraz's reputation as the greenest city in the country. My family recently moved to this area, and it's heartening to see the park being improved. The active youth of our city are setting a great example for our little ones."
