TSB Bank and Travelex Partner for Discounted Travel Money in NZ

Travelex, New Zealand’s leading foreign exchange provider, has teamed up with TSB Bank in a new referral partnership. The deal offers TSB customers discounted rates on travel money, both in cash and on pre-paid cards. The collaboration allows TSB customers to access better-value foreign currency through Travelex’s website or in-store. To qualify, they must present a valid TSB card or bank statement. Discounted rates cover over 50 currencies in cash and nine on Travelex’s pre-paid Money Card (TMC).

Travelex already operates in key locations across the country, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch Airport, and Queenstown Airport. The company will further expand its reach by opening a new store at New Plymouth House of Travel on May 12, 2026. The partnership aims to make foreign exchange more accessible, particularly for regional customers. TSB’s involvement ensures its users benefit from improved rates and greater convenience when travelling abroad.

The agreement between Travelex and TSB Bank provides customers with more affordable travel money options. With new store openings and a wide range of currencies available, the service is set to support travellers across New Zealand. Discounts apply to both cash purchases and pre-loaded cards, offering flexibility for different needs.
