Klarna and Minor Hotels Partner for Flexible Travel Payments in Europe
Klarna has teamed up with Minor Hotels to give travellers more ways to pay for bookings. The new partnership covers 13 European countries and lets guests split costs into interest-free instalments. Both companies aim to simplify the booking process for customers. The deal launches in Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Finland, and Ireland. Guests can now choose to pay upfront or divide the total into three equal payments without extra fees.
Minor Hotels operates over 640 properties, including hotels, resorts, and residences, across 63 countries. The addition of Klarna’s payment options is designed to make travel planning smoother.
Raji Behal, Klarna’s Head of Southern and Western Europe, UK & Ireland, highlighted the goal of the partnership. She explained that the collaboration focuses on making the booking experience effortless for guests. Travellers booking with Minor Hotels in the selected European markets now have more flexibility at checkout. The option to split payments into three interest-free instalments is available immediately. This change applies to all participating properties in the 13 countries.
