Jack Henry's AI fraud-fighting tool joins ICBA's trusted banking programme

Jack Henry's Financial Crimes Defender has joined the ICBA Preferred Service Provider (PSP) programme. The move strengthens a long-standing partnership aimed at supporting community banks. The platform uses AI and behavioural modelling to detect fraud and suspicious activity in real time.

Jack Henry has worked with the ICBA for over 15 years, providing digital banking, payments, and other financial solutions. Their latest addition, Financial Crimes Defender, is a next-generation platform that combines fraud detection and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/anti-money laundering (AML) efforts into one system.

The platform centralises alerts, data, and investigations, helping banks spot and stop fraud faster. It also automates routine investigative tasks and cuts down on false positives, freeing up teams to focus on high-risk cases. SELCO Community Credit Union is one confirmed user of Defender outside the ICBA-PSP programme, as announced in February 2026. ICBA Preferred Service Providers undergo a strict due-diligence process to earn their status. Jack Henry's continued inclusion in the programme reflects a shared commitment to strengthening community banking through advanced technology.

The addition of Financial Crimes Defender to the ICBA PSP programme gives community banks access to a modern fraud-fighting tool. By using AI and behavioural analysis, the platform aims to improve detection and reduce manual workloads. The partnership underscores both organisations' focus on security and efficiency in banking operations.
