Capital.com's AI trading plugin bridges research and execution for investors
Capital.com has launched a new plugin that lets clients connect their trading accounts to AI assistants. The tool is free, open-source, and designed to work within a user’s chosen AI environment. It aims to streamline the transition from market research to trading decisions. The plugin operates as an MCP Server, running locally on the client’s device. Capital.com does not control the AI environments it integrates with. Users can test all features in a demo mode before switching to a live account.
Once active, the tool provides live market data across forex, crypto, commodities, and indices. It also offers real-time portfolio reviews, historical price data, and aggregated client sentiment. Traders can place orders directly from their AI assistant, but a two-step preview and confirmation process is required before execution.
Sasha Gubochkin, Chief Product Officer at Capital.com, explained that the integration is meant to create a smoother path from research to action. Tarik Chebib, CEO for MENA, added that the tool aligns with the UAE’s approach to responsible AI adoption and operates within a regulated framework. The MCP Server does not make or suggest trading decisions. It also does not reduce the risks involved in CFD trading. Clients retain full control over their choices while accessing enhanced data and trading capabilities.
