dLocal's BNPL Fuse service expands globally to boost merchant revenue

dLocal has expanded its BNPL Fuse service to global merchants operating across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The enhanced solution now covers markets like Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia, with plans for further growth. The upgraded Fuse service includes active intelligence features for eligibility screening, payer data enrichment, and checkout optimisation. These tools help merchants boost conversion rates by up to 144%. The service also simplifies operations by eliminating the need for separate contracts, integrations, and compliance processes in each market.

New providers have joined the platform, including Didi in Mexico and Addi in Colombia. Aplazo and Venti are set to be added soon. Fuse also offers centralised refund management and subscription revenue options for businesses.

BNPL Fuse is designed to protect both consumers and merchants with fixed-term installment financing and clear repayment schedules. In South Africa, BNPL ticket sizes are 60-330% higher than card transactions, driving additional revenue for sellers. The service has seen rapid growth, processing $18.9 million in March 2026, with a month-over-month increase of around 20% over the past year. The expansion of BNPL Fuse provides merchants with a streamlined way to offer installment financing across multiple regions. The service’s growth and new features aim to improve efficiency and revenue for businesses in emerging markets.
