Dortmund braces for massive climate march demanding energy transition

A large climate march will take place in Dortmund this weekend under the slogan Future Over Gas—Defend the Energy Transition. Organisers expect thousands of participants to gather, with police warning of significant traffic disruptions along the route. The event begins with an opening rally at 12:00 PM on Hammer Straße / Am Lausbach. From there, the march will head east along Wittekindstraße before continuing via Strackstraße and a pedestrian path toward the Roller Sports Training Track. A closing rally is scheduled at the training track once the procession ends.
