New Industrial Projects
Two new high-energy materials production plants will soon be launched in Kazakhstan's Jambyl Region.
Regional authorities and Aibek Barys, CEO of defense and industrial holding Barys Dynamics, signed a cooperation memorandum to advance the investment project. The initiative involves constructing a high-tech manufacturing complex focused on products in demand across industrial and defense sectors.
The project carries a total investment of 450 billion tenge and will be implemented in four phases. Upon completion, it is expected to create around 1,100 new jobs, boosting local employment and enhancing the skills of the regional workforce.
During the talks, particular emphasis was placed on developing engineering and transport infrastructure, as well as ensuring environmental and industrial safety for the future facility. The investor has pledged that the plant will meet international standards, employing cutting-edge technologies to minimize environmental impact and mitigate potential risks.
The project is being implemented in partnership with Yugoimport SDPR, a Serbian defense industry leader founded in 1949 and specializing in arms and military equipment. This collaboration ensures the integration of advanced manufacturing solutions.
