Magadan ninth graders begin elective state final exams this week
The main phase of state final exams for ninth-grade graduates has begun in the Magadan Region. Nearly 1,000 students are sitting elective tests today as part of their final assessments. The exams cover a range of subjects chosen by the pupils themselves. This year’s most popular elective subjects include geography, computer science, and social studies. Students could also select from physics, chemistry, biology, history, English, literature, and other options. The exams form part of the wider state certification process for ninth graders.
Not all students will take these tests. Some graduates from specific regions or schools may receive their certificates based on interim assessment results instead. Once completed, the exam results will be processed by regional information centres. Scores are usually published within seven to 14 days after each test. Students can then check their marks either at their school or online via the federal Gosuslugi portal under the 'Education' section.
The elective exams mark a key step for ninth graders in the Magadan Region. Results will determine their final certificates and future academic paths. Official scores will be available through schools and the Gosuslugi platform in the coming weeks.
