Magadan's School 21 hosts AI workshop for modern governance innovation
A recent workshop on AI applications in professional workflows took place at the School 21 campus in Magadan. The event was part of the fourth module of a project exploring modern governance technologies. Participants included members of the SVO Heroes 49 initiative, which follows a federal programme launched by President Vladimir Putin. During the session, attendees refreshed their understanding of neural networks and worked on practical case studies using AI tools. Discussions also covered the integration of digital products and artificial intelligence in public administration. Some participants later submitted applications to School 21, entering its competitive selection process.
The workshop highlighted the school’s role in training IT engineers for the region. Many attendees expressed interest in future collaboration and agreed to develop joint projects. Meanwhile, current students at School 21 are completing their final qualification projects, with defences scheduled for September.
The event strengthened ties between participants and reinforced the importance of AI in governance. Plans for continued cooperation were made, while School 21 remains a key institution for IT education in the area. The next milestone will be the upcoming project defences in September.
