Money20/20 Europe marked its 10th anniversary with a record-breaking event. Over 7,500 attendees gathered, including more than 2,300 companies from 105 countries. A third of participants held C-suite positions, highlighting the event’s high-level influence. The conference took place in Amsterdam, featuring over 450 speakers across six stages. Industry leaders such as Sebastian Siemiatkowski of Klarna, Onur Genç of BBVA, Marguerite Bérard of ABN AMRO, and Yoni Assia of eToro shared insights on banking, fintech, payments, and digital assets. Discussions also covered AI, European financial sovereignty, and the convergence of traditional and decentralised finance.

Policy20 round table sessions brought together more than 40 senior policymakers and industry figures to address regulatory coordination and innovation. The event also saw the launch of a new book, The New Intersection of Money: Where TradFi and DeFi Converge, exploring the blending of traditional and decentralised finance. Aviel Intelligence won the Start-Up Pitch Competition by presenting AI-driven anti-scam solutions using synthetic personas.

Bryony Naylor, Vice President of Money20/20 Europe, noted that the event showcased a new phase of transformation in financial services. Organisers confirmed the next edition will return to the RAI in Amsterdam on 8-10 June next year. The 10th Money20/20 Europe has concluded with strong participation and high-profile discussions. The event reinforced its role as a key platform for financial innovation. Plans are already in place for next year’s gathering in Amsterdam.
