Muscat will host the Middle East Space Conference (MESC) 2026 from January 26 to 28. Organised under the patronage of His Highness The Deputy Prime Minister for Relations and International Affairs, the event aims to boost regional cooperation in space development. Over 450 senior leaders from more than 20 countries are expected to attend. The conference will gather government officials, space agencies, industry executives, investors, and academics. Topics will cover strategic, operational, and practical aspects of space growth in the Middle East. Oman's Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), which oversees the country's space sector, will play a key role.
MESC 2026 seeks to strengthen partnerships, attract investment, and build sustainable space capabilities. The final day will focus on enablers such as regulators, startups, incubators, and universities. Novaspace, a global leader in space consulting with offices in 11 cities worldwide, is supporting the event. With over 190 organisations represented, the conference will provide a platform for high-level discussions. Novaspace, which has served more than 1,200 clients across 60 countries, will contribute market insights and executive summit expertise.
The three-day event will conclude with a focus on practical steps to advance the region's space industry. Delegates will explore ways to turn discussions into actionable projects. MESC 2026 is set to become a key gathering for shaping the future of space development in the Middle East.
