Government Innovation Task Force to Conduct Comprehensive Audit of Enterprises

New Innovation Task Force to Transform Tech Sector by Summer Deadlines

Following a government review of innovation development under the provisions of the new Constitution, the prime minister issued a series of directives to relevant ministries and state agencies.

The Ministry of Science, together with other government bodies, has been tasked with establishing an Innovation Task Force under the government within three days to coordinate interagency efforts in the sector and define technological priorities. Chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information, the task force will consolidate all participants in the innovation ecosystem—from idea generation to product launch.

"To boost innovation among enterprises, a comprehensive audit of innovation activities and technological development across all companies must be completed by June 1," the prime minister emphasized.

The Ministry of Science, in collaboration with relevant agencies, has until June 1 of this year to develop an Innovation Development Concept, focusing on key priority industries and technologies.

The Ministries of Science and Artificial Intelligence, along with sectoral ministries and regional administrations (akimats), must launch a digital platform by July 1 to provide a single-window system for registering, supporting, and monitoring innovation projects. Additionally, they are to create a public national registry of innovation projects, including details on developers, technologies, and potential investors.

Oversight of these initiatives has been assigned to Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information.
