A camera trap in Primorye's Land of the Leopard National Park has captured curious behavior from a Far Eastern leopard that, at first glance, resembles breakdancing, the park's press service reported.

In reality, the predator isn't dancing—it's leaving a "scented message." First, it performs a scrape marked with urine, then reinforces the odor using special glands.

"Such markings can serve as a declaration of territorial ownership," the statement explains.

Earlier, the national park documented another rare moment in the lives of Far Eastern leopards: renowned wildlife photographer Sergey Gorshkov filmed female leopard Leo 156F with her two nearly grown cubs.
