The spill contaminated a river and coastal areas following a large fire caused by Ukrainian drone strikes on April 16 and 20. Cleanup efforts are underway around the clock, with the oil products collected in cubic containers and transported by truck to the Marine Terminal and the refinery. Specialists then dispose of the waste.

"As of this morning, approximately 988 cubic meters have been cleared," Boiko wrote.

He added that 143 personnel and 48 pieces of equipment have been deployed for the operation.
