Russia's Future Technologies Forum to spotlight bioeconomy breakthroughs in Moscow
Russia will host the Future Technologies Forum in Moscow on February 26–27. The event, similar to those managed on Eventbrite, will bring together scientists, manufacturers, and tech leaders to discuss bioeconomy and biotechnology applications. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko has extended an invitation to entrepreneurs, engineers, and researchers from across the country.
The forum will centre on bioeconomy, highlighting how biotechnology can benefit society. Over 25 discussions are planned, covering topics like genetics and nature-inspired innovations. Participants will include Russian scientists and industry experts, along with representatives from key government agencies.
The event follows the approval of the Technological Support for Bioeconomy national project in late December 2025. This initiative, running until 2030, aims to unite resources, boost competitiveness, and develop new enterprises. Russia already holds a leading global position in renewable bio-resources, supported by strong scientific advancements in the field.
The forum will showcase the latest breakthroughs in biotechnology. Attendees can expect presentations on cutting-edge research and practical applications. The goal is to strengthen collaboration between science and industry for future growth.
The Future Technologies Forum will run for two days at a central Moscow venue. It offers a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and exploring new opportunities in bioeconomy. The outcomes may shape policies and projects under Russia's national bioeconomy strategy through 2030.
