Stellantis and Applied Intuition team up to accelerate AI-driven vehicle software

Stellantis and Applied Intuition are deepening their strategic partnership to speed up software development for future vehicles. The expanded collaboration now includes STLA Brain, Stellantis’ next-generation intelligent vehicle platform. Both companies aim to improve scalability and efficiency in rolling out new technology.

The partnership focuses on accelerating software innovation for Stellantis’ upcoming vehicle programmes. Applied Intuition will assist in developing, simulating, validating, and deploying core vehicle systems. This support is expected to create a unified software foundation across Stellantis’ technology platforms, enabling quicker feature updates and a more seamless in-car experience.

STLA Brain, the centrepiece of this collaboration, is designed to simplify system integration and streamline software validation. The platform also allows continuous over-the-air updates throughout a vehicle’s lifecycle. These capabilities will help deliver advanced driver assistance systems and evolving digital experiences inside cars. Qasar Younis, CEO and co-founder of Applied Intuition, described the partnership as a key move toward mass-producing AI-defined vehicles. Ned Curic, Stellantis’ Chief Engineering and Technology Officer, stressed the need for speed, scalability, and high-quality software in introducing new technologies. The collaboration aligns with Stellantis’ broader strategy of enhancing vehicle connectivity and performance through partnerships with leading software and AI firms.

The expanded partnership will help Stellantis deploy software updates faster and improve the efficiency of future vehicle programmes. By integrating Applied Intuition’s expertise, the company aims to strengthen its position in software-defined vehicles. The focus remains on delivering advanced features and smoother digital experiences for drivers.
