Trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria: Faster Delivery - Self-Checkin for Drivers

Trans-o-flex Austria upgrades logistics software for faster, smarter deliveries

Trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria (TMA) has rolled out new in-house logistics software across its four Austrian branches. The system aims to speed up deliveries and improve efficiency for both planners and drivers. A similar upgrade has already taken place at its German sister company, Trans-o-flex Express. The updated dispatch software now streamlines route planning and daily workflows. It automatically calculates the most efficient delivery routes based on predefined settings. Dispatchers still retain the flexibility to tweak these suggestions manually when necessary.

Drivers benefit from a self-check-in feature that lets them start their routes faster. This removes the need for them to stop by the dispatch office, cutting down on waiting times and freeing up more hours for actual deliveries. Recipients also gain from the changes. The system now sends detailed advance notifications, including real-time updates on estimated delivery windows. This ensures customers know exactly when to expect their shipments.

The new solutions optimise operations at every stage, from planning to final delivery. Faster route calculations, reduced driver downtime, and clearer customer communication are now in place. The same technology has already proven effective at TMA’s German counterpart, Trans-o-flex Express.
