Ukraine deploys MORRIGAN strike drone to cripple Russian supply lines in Crimea

Ukraine’s military has unveiled a new domestically built strike drone named MORRIGAN. Developed by the 412th Nemesis Brigade, the uncrewed system has already carried out attacks on Russian logistics networks in occupied territories. Its operations include strikes on fuel tankers, military trucks, and transport vehicles moving toward Crimea. MORRIGAN is a fixed-wing drone designed for deep-strike missions behind enemy lines. Built for manoeuvrability, it specialises in targeting rear-area infrastructure and supply routes. Recent operations have focused on Russian military logistics along key highways, including the R-280 corridor.

The drone has been deployed in Crimea, where it destroyed air defence systems and support targets. Earlier reports from Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence Directorate confirmed similar strikes on transport routes linking Berdiansk, Melitopol, and Dzhankoi. These attacks form part of a broader effort to disrupt Russian supply chains in temporarily occupied southern Ukraine.

MORRIGAN belongs to a growing category of Ukrainian middle-strike drone systems. Its development reflects Kyiv’s push to expand uncrewed operations against Moscow’s logistics networks in contested regions. The drone’s deployment marks another step in Ukraine’s use of domestically produced systems to target Russian forces. With strikes on fuel convoys, military trucks, and transport hubs, MORRIGAN is now part of ongoing efforts to weaken enemy supply lines. Further operations are expected as Ukrainian units refine their drone capabilities.
