Morelos launches VisitMorelos.mx to boost local tourism with direct business connections

The Morelos state government has introduced a new digital platform to support local tourism. VisitMorelos.mx aims to connect businesses directly with visitors. The move is part of a wider push to strengthen the region’s tourism sector. Governor Margarita González Saravia officially launched the platform during a recent event. She also presented identity plaques to representatives from various tourism sectors. The branding campaign, titled Morelos, Mexico’s Springtime, was prominently featured on Pullman de Morelos buses for promotional routes.

VisitMorelos.mx allows entrepreneurs to manage their own profiles and sell services without intermediaries. The site organises listings by market segment and includes accessibility features to cater to diverse visitors. Federal Tourism Secretary Josefina Rodríguez Zamora described the platform as a major structural shift for tourism businesses in the region. The new platform is expected to help local businesses grow by providing direct access to consumers. It also aims to improve visibility and accessibility for tourism offerings across Morelos. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to modernise and promote the state’s tourism industry.
